What is Paraclimbing Nationals?

USA Climbing hosts a Paraclimbing National Championship each year—offering athletes with physical disabilities the chance to compete at the National level. To participate at Paraclimbing Nationals, an athlete can go through the classification process to be classified into an official category. If an athlete doesn’t want to compete in an official category or go through the classification process, they may sign up for one of the Open categories. Paraclimbing National Championships is a two round competition, with a qualification round on day 1 and an onsight final round on day 2. The climbing is all executed on top rope.

The Schedule

Saturday, March 1

- Qualification | 10:00AM - 3:30PM

All athletes must compete in the qualifier round to earn a spot in finals. The top athletes will move on from qualifiers into the finals round on Sunday.

Sunday, March 2

- Sunday | Finals & After Party 11:00AM - 9:00PM
- Finals Round 1 | 11:00 a.m.
- Finals Round 2 | 4:00 p.m.

This is the grand finale. Watch the top competitors from each category battle it out for the top spots!
The awards ceremony will happen after finals followed by a FREE after party. (Brought to you by Yeti & Walltopia)

Can the public spectate?

Yes! All spectators will need to complete a for Pacific Pipe. All registered competitors and Pacific Pipe members can spectate all rounds of the Paraclimbing National Championships for free—members, present your scan card when checking in at the front desk. Children 5 and under can spectate for free.
